Juvy obtained her esthetician training from Spa Luna Maui in 2005 where she studied the art of beauty and skin care. She is also certified in medical esthetics from Dallas Center for Medical Aesthetics. Juvy is licensed to practice in Hawaii and California. Her experience as an esthetician includes work in both the resorts and full service salons where she has helped treat many skin conditions and concerns.
In addition to her esthetician training, Juvy is also a licensed massage therapist. Juvy graduated from Makawao School of Therapeutic Massage on Maui in 2001. Juvy also received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Hawaii Manoa. She has taught fifteen years in the Hawaii public schools and is currently a Central Maui Complex Area Resource Teacher. She enjoys being a Resource Teacher, but her true passion is in skin care and maintaining a healthy skin and lifestyle. Juvy has completed trainings with highly regarded skincare companies such as, Dermalogica, Jan Marini, Visual Changes Skincare, Pevonia, Biomani Skincare, Image Skincare, Physicians Care Alliance Skin (PCA), Rhonda Allison Skin Nutrition and Osmosis Pure Medical Skincare. On a regular basis, she attends trainings from International Dermal Institute in Los Angeles, PCA on-tour trainings and the International Esthetics and Spa Conferene where she further adds to her knowledge and understanding of skin care. She is skilled in a multitude of skin care techniques such as spa facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels to treat persistent acne for teens and adults, reversal of aging and removal of hyperpigmentation and sun spots. Her mission is to improve skin health and provide skincare through clinical excellence for all men, women, and teens. Beautiful skin starts with healthy skin.
Juvy is experienced in hair removal both in waxing and threading. She is also a make-up artist who has done many on location weddings and special events.
